this is some advice I took from Doug, a guy I used to study with in this community.

Some people, well most people access this stuff through mobile, and chatrooms are hard to access. So I installed a shoutbox, which has pretty much the same functions as a chat and in some cases works better.

I'm still working to embed it over the old one, but for the time being I think the shout works just as well.
